About the Photographer:
Previously working under the alias ‘Unplanned Detour Photography’, owner Taylor Sammarco has been behind the lens since 2015. Upon the realization that her dream was not in Veterinary Medicine, but rather in Photography, Taylor left veterinary school on the picturesque island of St. Kitts and committed to her true passion wholeheartedly.
Past experiences in various sporting endeavors allowed Taylor to carve her niche in the photography world. As a freelance Sports Photographer, she is able to use her knowledge and experience to photograph a range of athletes, from kiteboarding and hockey, to equestrian and canine sports. As an equestrian herself, Taylor’s heart is close to photographing all disciplines and is not limited to eventing, which she personally competes in.
Taylor’s passion is not limited to Sports Photography. Her unique training in the animal medical field has allowed her to enhance her creativity by creating pet and equine portraits. Her knowledge allows for your furry, scaled, or feathered loved ones to be as relaxed in front of the camera as Taylor is behind it. Various types of portrait sessions are available to accommodate a variety of budgets and needs . The uses of soft, natural lighting with outdoor backdrops are always a client favorite.
